Cascade Aviation is the largest flight school and flying club in northwest Washington. It has been operating as the Whidbey Island Flying Club from the Skagit County Airport and is a well-respected place to get your flight wings.
The passionate flight instructors at Cascade can help you realize your dream of becoming a licensed pilot with personal attention during flight time and ground school training. You’ll have the chance to practice flying over mountains, water, and endless plains and lowlands.
At Cascade Aviation, you’ll fly in a Cessna or Piper aircraft and use the Redbird TD2-S simulator for additional training. Cascade offers Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, and Mountain Flying courses.
Cascade is popular in the industry for its sharp-minded instructors who can get devoted students through the usual 70 hours of flight training to become a private pilot in 50-60 hours, saving time and money. Cascade has an in-house scholarship fund to help offset flight school costs and is happy to connect you with other financial aid options as needed.
